Varieties:
Vine variety requirements for this appellation's area change according to type.
Types Bianco, Spumante, Passito and Coronata: Vermentino and/or Bianchetta Genovese and/or Albarola, at least 60%; Pigato and/or Rollo and/or Bosco, up to 40%.
Types Rosso and Rosato: Dolcetto and/or Sangiovese and/or Ciliegiolo, at least 60%; Barbera, up to 40%.
Varietal types: the blend proportions are always the same, variety indicated in the type name, 85%; other similar varieties admitted under the DOC law, 15%.
