Type Rosso: Cesanese and/or Merlot and/or Montepulciano and/or Nero buono and/or Sangiovese, 85%; other local red varieties, up to 15%.
Type Rosato: one or more local red varieties, up to 100%.
Type Bianco: Malvasia (bianca, di Candia, puntinata) and/or Trebbiano (toscano, romagnolo, di Soave, verde and giallo) 70%; other local white varieties, up to 30%.
