Obiz Azienda Agricola

The estate is near Aquileia, born a Roman colony in 181 B.C. and now Northeast Italy's chief archeological site. The family runs the estate and take care for 62 acres of vines, which lie all around the winery and are cultivated to a high density per acre. OBIZ produces still wines certified Friuli Aquileia DOC, a sparkling wine and a grappa. OBIZ people enjoy their territory and its history, and emphasize it by naming their wines for famous bishops and for Aquileian women of Roman times.
