I Gessi Az.Biologica di Fabio De Felippi

“I GESSI” is a small farm certified organic family run.
Grape: Barbera, Croatina, Pinot Nero, Pinot Grigio, Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling.
Training method: Guyot.
Density: 4.000 vines per hectare.

THE LAND
27 hectares situated in Oltrepò Pavese (50 km south of Milan).
The Vineyard is part of the D.O.C. Oltrepò Pavese area situated between 200 and 300 mt above sea-level.
THE MICROCLIMATE
The microclimate is fantastic: low rainfull rate, winters not too cold and light wind is blowing throughout the year.
The Estate is owned by Defilippi Fabbio. The conductor in all this very long and carefull process is oenologist Defilippi Emilio Renato.
COUNTRY GUESTHOUSE
Near the farm “I GESSI” there is a small and quaint country guesthouse vith wonderful views of the hills. Here you can walk and go by bike
Through the vineyards of the farm. The suites include bedrooms, bathroom, living room and kitchen, all tastefully furnished.
