Castelvecchio

Castelvecchio farm is in San Pancrazio in the municipality of San Casciano Val di Pesa, south of Florence. Family-run, the 125-acre estate produces wine and extra virgin olive oil, and offering agriturismo (vacation accommodations). History is here too: Castelvecchio's logo, the ancient coat of arms, reproduces the one found over the entrance to San Lorenzo, an 11th Century chapel on the estate. Vineyards of Sangiovese, Canaiolo Nero, Trebbiano and Malvasia del Chianti, as well as Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, are cultivated with great passion to make fine DOCG, DOC and IGT wines.
