Joseph Kemble

Joseph Kemble has specialized in retail sales as well as on premise key accounts throughout the state of Texas as the Italian Buyer for Spec’s Wines, Spirits, and Finer Foods for the past 20 years.
As an educator, he taught Italian wine classes at the Art Institute of Houston. His passion for all things Italian leads him to share his knowledge and experiences with those wanting to learn. He is one of the creators of the Italian Expo in Houston, which brings the true Italian cultural experience to Texans. Joseph travels to Italy several times a year in search of new wines, grappa, and foods to introduce to the Texas market. It is his desire to give the “migliore,” the very best, of Italian knowledge to his customers.
He was awarded The Platinum Distinguished Service Award by the Italian Trade Commission in 2009 for his dedication in the sales of Italian wines.
To further promote Italy in the U.S., Joseph stays fluent with the Italian market by attending VinItaly every year and participating in taste and buy sessions to introduce new Italian wines to the market.
He also consults with Italian export companies about the U.S. wine market.
